I only use 700M CD-Rs, so the values that frameno prints
are fine for me.  Even if they were not, I could easily
calculate them myself, since mencoder prints the bitrate
of the frameno.avi file.

On a related note ...  _If_ 3pass mode gets removed, then
will there be a different way to encode an audio-only AVI
from a DVD title?  I do need that for various other tasks,
e.g. when postprocessing a DVD title before encoding (for
multi-language support, changing aspect ratios and similar
things).  So far, I've always used -ovc frameno for that
purpose, which works perfectly fine.
