[MPlayer-users] mplayer cdda on big endian systems

Hi folks,

When I try "mplayer cdda://1" on my Mac (Linux, Gentoo) I get bad 
noise, I suspect it is caused by some kind of endian problem.
The correct song is heard with "cdparanoia 1 - | aplay" or with the
xmms plugin xmms-cdread. 

Does "mplayer cdda://1" work for someone else?
Any big endian users out there?

I use the CVS main tree of mplayer.
