[MPlayer-users] -endpos off by several seconds

I've used mencoder to convert some vhs tapes.  Since the endpos is not
known, I have to post-process the files to remove trailing junk.
However, the -endpos that I specify is sometimes off by several
seconds.  Is there a way to fix this?  -forceidx does not help.
