What's the problem?  I got my GeForce4 MX card for under $40
several months ago.  I'm sure it's even cheaper now (AGP or PCI).  I
haven't gotten around to trying xvmc yet though.

I understand the sentiment, but so far there's no real alternative that
I know of.  I certainly hope NAS will turn out well, but until then...
