[MPlayer-users] How do I get subtitles to follow '-vf rotate' ?

I have tried using the rotate filter when playing a movie, and it works nice.
However, when subtitles are used too - they are displayed as normal and thus not corresponding to the movie horizontal.
Is there a way to have the subtitles follow the rotation?
Otherwise, make that a feature suggestion because I think it would be very logical to have that. I assume it should even be the default behaviour?
