[MPlayer-users] keyboard behavior change

I always thought this would be nice! Is there an option to switch
between the old and new behaviours?

BTW, when talking about input.conf, is it an intention or my
misconfiguraton that input.conf only applies to the terminal window
not to the video output window?  (I'm using -vo xv and a fairly recent
CVS version of mplayer; anyway, input.conf were always working that way
for me). Haven't found a mention about it neither in DOCS nor in the
list archives. Thanks,
