[MPlayer-users] Cannot install

It would appear that the file structure is messed up here.

in /usr/share/mplayer I have only Skin
Within Skin I have Default
Within Default I have font.fnt; font.png; skin; symbols.fnt; and a bunch
of .png files. I am fairly sure that I caused this by doing "touch
default" in the mplayer directory. (I did this because I was fairly sure
I had the problem with not being able to change skins. I had done it on
a previous install and it worked, but apparently I did something wrong
this time) Should I rearrange this file structure? and if so, could
someone please advise what belongs where?
