[MPlayer-users] mencoder rip dvd with subtitle to .avi

Hello, i've a problem with mencoder, i use this command :
/usr/bin/mencoder 
/Volumes/Homer/BATMAN_16X9LB_PAL_D3/TITLE01-ANGLE1.VOB -oac mp3lame 
-lameopts vol=0 -aid 128 -ovc lavc -lavcopts 
vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=1000:keyint=240:vqmin=2:vqmax=15 -ofps 25 -vop 
scale=640:480 -sid 1 -o /Volumes/Homer/BATMAN_16X9LB_PAL_D3/batman.avi

  And the subtitle appears only in black color. It's not readable. Can 
you help me.
