[MPlayer-users] mencoder on slow CPU

lavrec from mjpegtools? I think I tried that once and it gave good frame
rates. I've had very little luck with video capture and real time
compression because of broken m/b chipset doesn't do bus mastering pci
transfers. makes it hard to see what your doing...
