[MPlayer-users] crash with -vo fbdev

Running the latest CVS (dev-CVS-030211-20:06-3.2.2) version of mplayer
with command-line options "mplayer -vo fbdev test1.avi test2.avi" crashed
after playing test1.avi with following:

fbdev: Can't put VSCREENINFO: Bad file descriptor
FATAL: Cannot initialize video driver.

I ran it through gdb which said:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

I think it is fbdev (reinitialization?) problem because it happens every
time when I try to play more than one file per run (inc. using playlist).
Other outputs (-vo x11, svga, xv, vesa, aa, etc..) worked fine.

P.S: I am running 2.5.59 kernel (rivafb driver) so that "bad file
descriptor" might be because of that, but I noticed the same problem
some time ago on 2.4.20 aswell. (no way to test it now, though)
