Ok, from 720x480 and the MPEG2 format this is most probably from a DVD,
almost for sure, you gotta read up on the DVD format to quite understand
this. The 29.97 frames per second indicates a FILM rate (on real film it's 30
fps).
The "aspect" indicates if the frame is TV shaped 4:3 or FILM shaped 16:9.
However, I'll point you to do
$man mplayer
and then look for the "aspect" parameter. There it'll say what aspect 2 is....
