[MPlayer-users] TV watching - problems with NORM?

I have an ATI TV-Wonder that works under XawTV. Under MPlayer, it shows
garbage. This garbage is identical to what I see in XawTV if the NORM
setting is not set to NTSC, my local normalization.
I grabbed some kernel output from loading the card's drivers. That is
below the message.
The curious thing, and what I'm certain is the problem, is that while
loading, MPlayer says:
Tuner isn't capable to set norm!
However, it obviously must be capable because XawTV can do it! Is there
any solution to this? If I can get the tuner into NTSC everything should
be fine.
Regards,
Chad
