[MPlayer-users] ID3 tags in mp3 files

Hi!

Is it me, or does mplayer not recognise ID3-v2 information in mp3 files?  Is this related to the issue discussed on this list mplayer 0.90-rc3 a poor mp 3 player?

I have mp3 files encoded with id3-v1 that display the clip info correctly.
With id3-v2 no clip info is displayed.
With both id3-v1 and id3-v2 the clip info is also displayed.

Sorry if this is an old issue, but for me mplayer is a pretty good mp3 player and I wonder if it is possible to see the id3-v2 information.
