another problem:

when doing 2pass encoding, mencoder will only distribute the available
space for the 1/5 part of the movie...
so for example if the first half is mostly slow/no-motion, and teh
second part is high-motion, then mencoder won't be able to spare space
at the beginning and give more space to the second half.
