I wouldnt use -vo x11 if you dont have to. And -zoom in combination
with x11 is a really bad idea, i dont know of any CPU that is fast 
enough to scale a movie in realtime if it's bigger than a thumbnail.
If you have a real graphic card present (any non-stone-age card)
you can use xv, xmga or xvidix and thus use scaling in hardware.
