[MPlayer-users] MMS WMV9 stream viewing and RP8 .ram stream viewing problems

Hi

Im having some trouble watching a wmv 9 stream from mms://sargass-3.arc.nasa.gov/nasa_tv
All that happens is -

I get the same results with MPlayer-0.90rc2. (Note: This file and the next work perfectly under windows in their respective players)

On a related note, the url: http://vanseg-1.arc.nasa.gov/nasa_tv.ram doesn't work either, as mplayer complains about avi/asf/mpg headers not being found. In the past, i've been able to play ram videos (i think) with mplayer. heres the output -
