Time to reply!

Hi Arpi, I have some updates to this matter, see below:

It works if I use ./configure --enable-qtx-codecs.

Normally, my ./configure line used to be --enable-new-conf --enable-menu --enable-gui

If I tried ./configure --enable-qtx-codecs --enable-win32 --enable-new-conf --enable-menu --enable-gui
it doesn't work.

At this very moment I am trying:
./configure --enable-qtx-codecs --enable-new-conf --enable-menu --enable-gui
Let's see if it works ... I'll let you know ...

Other than that, mplayer works GREAT with QT movie trailers in this RedHat8

Just some notes:

1. mplayer prints LOTS of lines before playing the movie, almost 50 seconds of:

### FindFirstFileA('C:\windows')...

### FindFirstFileA('C:\windows\system')...

### FindFirstFileA('C:\windows\system\quicktime')...

### FindFirstFileA('C:\windows\system\quicktime\On2_VP3.qtx')...

Do I really need to have a .wine directory?

2. if I use mpconsole the movie is played instantly.

Arpi, thanks for the QT support, it's awesome! :)
