sure.
just tried on my notebook (celeron-2 500mhz, ati mach64) and it played
matrix.vob with -vop pp=0x20000 using 74% cpu (-vo xvidix)

maybe it's higher for real ntsc dvds (30 frames) or even more for
field-coded (50 fields) streams...
