the only difference between cvs 20021224 and rc2 is that rc2 includes
libavcodec too. and since libavcodec is the preferred decoder for divx,
probably it's working for that reason...

maybe your divx5linux lib is too old or buggy...

at least we can fix it if it does crahs... we cannot fix the closedsource
divx5.
