[MPlayer-users] how to convert vobsub files?

hello,

i;ve read all the documentation and still i can't figure out how to
convert vobsub files to plain text ones. the vobsub ones that i have
look really sluggish, compared to the quality of the video. can anyone
tell me how to do that (as i read in the documentation, the -dump*sub
option should do that, but how to use it?)
