hello,
for some reason some of my dvd's, when converted to divx's, have their audio
off a bit. i end up having to play them with the following command line:
mplayer kingpin.avi -delay 0.3

so i figured i can use mencoder to permantly put that delay in using the
following command line:
mencoder -oac copy -ovc copy -audio-delay 0.3 -o kingpin_sync.avi kingpin.avi

well the problem is that when i play kingpin_sync.avi, the sound is still off
and i have to manually specify the delay again when using mplayer. am i
doing something wrong?

thanks,
