 - kernel with 2.4.19 of better (!!!!)
 - cvs version of aureal driver from aureal.sf.net

1. step

 get the source from aureal.sf.net CVS (!!!!!)

2. step

 modify the au_vortex.h file on line 146 :

-#define MAX_FRAGS       4
+#define MAX_FRAGS      16

3. step

 recompile, and install.

4. step

 you pray a lot and sacrifice a black rooster :)
