[MPlayer-users] 3Dfx Voodoo3 not found.

Hello,

I have a PIII 500 with a 3Dfx Voodoo 3, Knoppix 3.2 distribution. I use MPlayer to play video files and DVD. I have compiled it successfully with option --enable-tdfxfb to have optimzation for 3Dfx video cards. 

But when I call:
	mplayer -vo tdfxfb -dvd 1

I have this error message: 
	tdfxfb: can't open /dev/fb0: Permission non accordée (permission denied)

And when I call it as logged as root:
	tdfxfb: This driver is only supports the 3Dfx Banshee, Voodoo3 and Voodoo 5

But I have a real 3Dfx Voodoo3. I have tested it with GLXGear, I had download the specific library needed by X11 and DRI for 3DFX Voodoo3 support (without this GLXGear could not run). 

Could any one help me, please?
