I now have a new version of pocketMVP that works on WM2003

it can play the pocketmatrix clips.

however my encoding of shrek still crashes it.

I tried:

mencoder Movies/Shrek.avi -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg1video:vbitrate=1800:vhq -ofps 24 -vop scale=320:240 -nosound -o shrek.avi

and

mencoder Movies/Shrek.avi -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=msmpeg4:vbitrate=1800:vhq -ofps 24 -vop scale=320:240 -nosound -o shrek.avi

neither work (nor variations on them).

any suggestions?
