[MPlayer-users] Searching message archives

After following this list closely for several weeks, I think I've
noticed a serious communication problem: it's not terribly obvious how
to search the archives. There is a web interface with a link from the
bottom of the "MPlayer Information" page:
<URL:http://www.mplayerhq.hu/cgi-bin/htsearch>

However, the links to pages for specific lists are higher on the
Information page. If one follows one of them (like
<URL:http://mplayerhq.hu/mailman/listinfo/mplayer-users>), then follows
the link to "MPlayer-users Archives," there are only the mailbox files
to download. This is not a convenient way to search for old messages.
Also, since the lists are now on Gmane, the best search interface seems
to be here:
<URL:http://news.gmane.org/thread.php?group=gmane.comp.video.mplayer.user>

Let me emphasize that I do not wish to diminish the value of Mechanik's
or any one else's work. Nor do I wish to start a flame war. I am simply
making observations as a user of the site with the hope of improving it
for everyone.

Unfortunately, as beautiful as it is, the MPlayer website is difficult
to navigate. This is mainly because too much is crammed into each page.
I believe that breaking up the pages into smaller, better organized ones
would go a long way toward better communication.
