hi,
while playing some realmedia files i recognized that mplayer inits the
codec right but doesn't show any video. it happens with rv30 encoded
material and only with high bitrates and high res. low resolution vids
with the same codec plays in a way. the vids play fine with realplayer
linux/win.
i can upload some samples if needed.
it seems that the working files played with realplayer looks
nicer and plays smoother, does realplayer some pp on them?
btw. i tried also mencoder to transcode the working files to another
format but got almost a/v-desync. have someone already did some
experiments with transcoding realmedia files and can give me some hints?
