[MPlayer-users] strange avi generated

Hi,

Another strange thing i found is that if save the images(import ..) as jpg frist
then use 'convert' to convert them to png. Then it works. 

 mencoder -mf on:fps=5:type=png -ni -ovc lavc -subfont-encoding UTF-16 -o aa.avi
  \*.png
But i still get the following warning:

Unicode charmap not available for this font. Very bad!
Cannot generate tables.

Got any idea why?
