I disagree entirely. I think the developers are very generous to read and 
answer questions on this list. They provide far better user support then the 
vast majority of commercial vendors - and they do it for free. The only time 
they are harsh in their comments is when someone either A) posts a stupid 
question to the list that could be answered by even the most brief perusing 
of the manual / mail list archive or B) posts a problem report that is so 
incoherent that it would require the use of telepathy to determine what the 
problem is.  I think Rich in particular has demonstrated remarkable restraint 
in answering the same questions over and over (the -ss switch not working 
correctly with DVDS comes to mind). I really appreciate all the hard work the 
developers put into this project and would like to thank them for producing 
such a great media player.
