[MPlayer-users] Bug Report - Mencoder indicates Stereo instead of MONO

Bug Report:

Mencoder assigns the wrong number of channels,
to the avi header when encoding in MONO using
mp3lame.

The instruction below:

-oac mp3lame -lameopts vbr=3 mode=3

...should encode a file with 1 channel. However,
the file is identified as stereo (2 channels).

Playing a file created with -dumpaudio does
indicate the file is MONO though.
