RTFM yourself. I read the README file, I read the config options, I read 
the man page (searching for the string GUI doesn't help you there), I 
read the mplayer --help output. grep -r gmplayer in the mplayer source 
tree gives only one hit in the documentation.html (for each language 
that is to say), and one in the man page.

write decent documentation.
