Hi!
I'm having trouble recording videos from my v4l-device (Hauppauge WinTV) using
MPlayer 0.90 rc5.
After some seconds of recording I get the message "too bad - dropping audio
frames" repeatet until I stop recording via CTRL+C. If I play this video and
it gets to this position it's repeated until the video is stopped.
I have tested it with following command-lines (and a lot of more I don't
remember):
mencoder -tv on:driver=v4l:width=384:height=288 -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=1200 -oac copy -o /public/tv.avi
mencoder -tv on:driver=v4l:width=384:height=288 -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=1200 -oac mp3lame -lameopts cbr:br=128 -o
/public/tv.avi
mencoder -tv on:driver=v4l:width=384:height=288 -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg4:vhq:vbitrate=2100 -oac pcm -o /public/tv.avi
I tested it with "mpeg1video" as well.
I already found someone with the same problem in the mailinglist-archive but
this posting was in hungarian that I don't understand. :-)
Can anybody help me?
Achim
