Sorry to become silly, but I actually do know how to administer my 
system. I don't know why I am experiencing this behaviour, but as I
changed to cvs snapshot, I did have the expected behaviour coming.
So you can't say I'm using an old release, since the cvs _is_ working.
My problem is that 0.90 isn't working as expected. And I am _sure_
I'm using the right executable. Now, this is not a problem at all, since 
I will continue to use -dvd flawlessly, I just don't like critics to my
skills when there's no proof of that.
