[MPlayer-users] STILL a/v sync problems with divx encoding

using MPlayer-0.90. i'm doing a simple divx encoding, no multiple passes or
anything.
mencoder -oac mp3lame -lameopts abr:br=96 -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg4:vhq:vbitrate=900 -vop scale,crop=720:374:0:50 -dvd 1 -chapter
1-1 -zoom -xy 640 -o test.avi -ofps 23.976
i get a nasty 300ms delay.
thanks for the help. i'd just like to say i've been having this problem for
literally months. i see other people have this problem also, and many
(including myself) have uploaded samples and full bug reports to the
mplayer's ftp site. i guess what i'm getting at is...is this >ever< going to
be resolved? everytime mplayer releases a new version i try it out, it
fails, then i revert back to cvs snapshot from dec 10, 2002.
