[MPlayer-users] Long delays before showing films from dvbstream in CVS

Hi,

dvbstream -o -ps -f [freq] -s [srate] -p [pol] [vpid] [apid] |mplayer -vo
xv -ao alsa9 -fs -

takes about 30 seconds to start with current CVS [this started shortly
after the 0.90 release].
With 0.90, the picture appears almost instantly.

Current CVS shows the cache fill approaching 20%, then waits for about 20
seconds without any output, then starts playing without further problems.
Initially I thought it's taking so long to find the right codec, but
forcing -ac ffmp2 -vc mpeg12 (or -ac ffmp2 -vc ffmpeg12, tried both)
doesn't change anything.

Any ideas what change may have caused this?
