Hmmm... had no problem with this version. You may try the newest version 
directly from http://www.linux1394.org/ . Be sure to get te 2.4-tree 
(the main tree is for kernel 2.5!) It is, of course, perfectly possible 
that your case has a misbehaving chip.

PS: I'll be gone till next week, so use PM if you want me to help you on 
this matter. Oh, and you may write german. ;-)
