[MPlayer-users] gui doesn't work

You have to download and unpack at least the default skin to the mplayer
installation directory (inside the Skin directory). You will also need
to download and unpack one of the available font sizes if you want to
have subtitles. 
Downloads are available from the mplayer home page, and instructions are
on the README packed with mplayer (steps 5 and 6)
