I've had that happen to me, too, once in a while, but it never really
bothered me enough to report it.

Most of the time it detects correctly (1890) but once in a while it
misdetects a value somewhat higher than it ought to. Right now, it
detected 2152, but I can't make it misdetect again. Looking through
the pile of terminals on my desktops, I find 1891, 2046, 2142, 2147, 
2150, 2152, 2153, 2261, 2407, and lots of correct detections of 1890.
