[MPlayer-users] libpostproc and fast_memcpy

Hi everybody,

I'm the rpm package maintainer of both transcode and mplayer for
Mandrake. Transcode could use the shared libpostproc from mplayer for
it's filter module until MPlayer 1.0pre1. Then there was the error
about the undefined symbol fast_memcpy in libpostproc.so. I could work
around this by tricking the transcode configure script to link against
my own fast_memcpy function that wraps around memcpy from libc.

Would it be better to include the fast_memcpy function in libpostproc
or should all changes go to transcode instead?
