hi, I have just installed the mdk-plf mplayer1pre2.rpm. I wanted to know whether there was going to be a performance penalty over installing from source, and if so how much. It says something about runtime cpu detection being suboptimal, and I wanted to know whether this would translate to anything significant... Cheers Antonovich
