[MPlayer-users] -vo gl2 -monitoraspect 16:9 flickers like crazy

Hi!

I want to use -vo gl2 fullscreen on my NVidia TV-out (800x600, widescreen TV).
I've been using "-vo xv -monitoraspect 16:9", which works, but give some 
annoying tearing-artifacts because -vo xv doesn't support sync-to-vblank.. So 
I just found out that you can use -vo gl2  (which DOES sync to vblank) 
instead. The problem is that when watching a non-16:9 movie I get 
stroboscope-flicker to the left and right of the movie.. It seems that gl2 
doesn't expand its window to screensize before going fullscreen, at least not 
when using -monitoraspect 16:9 ...
