[MPlayer-users] NOVIRUS [BUG] Slave mode / win32

Using the pre-compiled 1.0pre1 version for windows, if I use slave mode
(e.g. mplayer -slave) with, say, an mp3 file, it only plays whilst the
input buffer has characters (or is closed).

 

I.E. you get no sound until you hold down the [RET] key, and it stops
when you lift it. 

 

Sounds like the getch is waiting and stalling everything else
