[MPlayer-users] SuSE 8.2 and installation from source NOVIRUS

I don't think you will ever need divx4linux but if you will you should read Mplayer documentation and download latest Divx4/5linux. And if you will not be able to compile MPlayer with Divx4linux even with help of documentation you should read DOCS/bugreports.html and post a bugreport to this list. Then maybe someone will help you.
