1.Do I need to enable this on my own or is it enabled by default ?

2. If it is enabled why can't I listen/view regular http://%*****/*.rm(ram) files from the web. Do you think there is something wrong with my mplayer configuration. ? I am using the mplayer-1.0pre and my configuration looks something like this. I am using netscape/mozilla under gnome esd.

./configure --enable-gui --withwin32libdir=/usr/local/win32 --withreallibdir = /usr/local/RealPlayer8/Codes --enable-live --withlivelibdir=/usr/local/live

I am for sure that the realplayer codes are taken care of as I can play them after downloading the files but not streams. It always bums out by saying "file format not good.". I can always play the same url with

realplay http://******/*.rm(ram).

I did copy codes.conf,input.conf ,example.conf(config) to my .mplayer directory. And my dirs have proper perm. too.

What am I missing. ?
