I can get png format images from a movie with this command:

mplayer levy.avi -ss 30 -vo png -nosound

But I can't find an option for when to stop the dump ? I mean there is a -ss and
sb to specify when the dump should start, but I also want to stop it so I only
get one image (or at least a few).

Is there a way to grab just one frame spcified somewhere in the movie and 'dump'
it as a png image file ?

Mencoder got a endpos option but no png putput is supported (or at least I can't
find it in the documentation).
