[MPlayer-users] Mplayer and codec audio for wm9 does not work.

First, if you want to force libmad, make sure you know what you are
doing. If ./configure without --enable-mad says no mad, then there is
either something wrong with our autodetection stuff, or, more probably,
you don't have headers installed. (Now, I don't know what your distro
is, but check for packages like libmad-dev or libmad-devel or maybe
libmad-headers. Or s/libmad/sthelse/ if the library package was not
libmad-*. And if you have these/have installed from source try locating
mad.h and play with --with-extraincdir=DIR.

But probably even better would be to check /etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf and
~/.mplayer/config for ac=... options and commenting them out with # and
trying then.
