Hi there,

I've just downloaded MPlayer-1.0pre5 and I've been trying to get the
XvMC output to work.

I've got an MPEG-2 source file and I'm giving the options -vo xvmc -vc
ffmpeg12mc and it *almost* works. However, the key part of the output is
as follows:

Starting playback...
vd_ffmpeg: XVMC accelerated MPEG2
trying pixfmt=0
[ffmpeg] aspect_ratio: 1.777778
VDec: vo config request - 720 x 576 (preferred csp: MPEG1/2 Motion Compensation
and IDCT)
Trying filter chain: vo
VDec: using MPEG1/2 Motion Compensation and IDCT as output csp (no 0)
Movie-Aspect is 1.78:1 - prescaling to correct movie aspect.

MPlayer interrupted by signal 6 in module: decode_video
- MPlayer crashed. This shouldn't happen.
It can be a bug in the MPlayer code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your
gcc version. If you think it's MPlayer's fault, please read
DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there. We can't and
won't help unless you provide this information when reporting a possible bug.

Any ideas what could be happening here? I can prove more information if
required, but so much is possible I thought I'd cut it down to just what
was needed.

Many thanks for your help,

Jim.
