With some cards you will be able to use only one xv instance, in almost any
case you would at least have to specify a different port.
But actually it works for me, just my PC is a bit too slow...
Also I think you should better use -nocache for the slave instances
(actually caching isn't a good idea in most cases, except playback over
network or from CD or DVD).
