Please don't reply on top.  Please don't quote the mailing list tag.

"bps" in this case is Bytes (not bits) per second.  Technically, I
suppose that should be a capital B; feel free to submit a patch to
mplayer-dev-eng.

By selecting each program in turn?  See mplayer manpage, specifically
-aid, -vid, and -tsprog.
