Hi Nico

    Sorry, I forgot to tell you that it played well in MPlayer (both under
windows and linux) but failed to do so using MPC. but MPC is able to play
other mpeg2 files (even those encoded with unpatched mencoder). I was just a
bit lazy not to try the encoded file with dvdauthor (the actual
requirement). I will do it today and tell if it works. If it does, i do not
care if MPC plays it or not or virtualdub spews out a million warnings. And
ofcourse, report you as well.
