I'm going to assume you meant -lavdopts.

That seems to be working for now.  The picture is understandably blurry 
- the resolution is halved, which is way overkill to make 720 fit into 
640 - but at least now it's not cropping off stuff.  This'll work until 
a better solution is found (which hopefully doesn't involve a new video 
card)
